Thoughtful adaptations for easier everyday living.
Flawless Independence is a specialist service from Flawless Interiors Ltd for disabled people, older adults and families planning for changing needs. We create welcoming, practical bathrooms, kitchens and access improvements that make daily routines easier.
Planned around the person
We listen to the person who will use the space, understand the property and plan the work around everyday routines, comfort and safety.

02 / Kitchens
Clear routes, reachable storage and useful layout changes, planned around the person who uses the kitchen. We coordinate the agreed renovation and finishing work.

Practical choices
Council-funded adaptations
In England, local councils can help pay for adaptations through a Disabled Facilities Grant. An occupational therapist usually assesses what is needed and the council may ask for written quotes. We can survey the property, price the work to the occupational therapist's specification and carry it out once the council approves it. The council decides eligibility and the grant amount – we cannot guarantee a grant.
Disabled Facilities Grants on GOV.UKHow we work
You will know what has been measured, what is included and what needs another professional's input before work starts.
A short call to understand the property, the access difficulty, who owns or manages it and whether the project is private or going through a council route.
We measure the space, record access and site constraints, and identify questions for an occupational therapist or qualified trade specialist.
You receive a clear scope, price, assumptions and programme. We coordinate agreed trades, protect the home and complete the finishing and snagging.
Areas we cover
Flawless Interiors Ltd is based in Weston-super-Mare and serves households and property partners across the surrounding area.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. We price and build to the agreed specification and raise any site questions with the occupational therapist before work starts.
Most level-access shower and wet room projects take 5–10 working days, depending on the floor, drainage and scope. We confirm the programme after the survey.
We can survey the property and provide the written quote the council asks for. The council handles the application, eligibility and approval.
Often yes, but it depends on the room size, door width and floor. We check this during the survey and with the occupational therapist where one is involved.
Start with a conversation
Talk to us about a privately funded adaptation, a council process already under way, or whether a specialist assessment should come first.
Council grants and Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) applications are assessed and administered by the relevant local authority in England. Eligibility, approval, grant amount and contractor appointment depend on that authority's process. Flawless Interiors Ltd cannot guarantee a grant or council appointment. Stairlift installation, testing and servicing must be carried out by a suitably competent specialist; availability is subject to assessment and supplier arrangements.
